Pros

Compass is a great place to work and there are many opportunities for professional growth. My supervisors were supportive, willing to provide one on one training when needed and available for consult. I was also able to receive LPC supervision and experience through Compass. There are frequent opportunities to get to know and interact with other clinicians during team meetings and office events. I learned a great deal about individual and family counseling in the home setting during my time as a clinician. You make your own schedule with your assigned clients and maintaining a consistent caseload is not difficult. The office culture is positive overall and the co-workers are fantastic.

Cons

Working in the clients' homes, with any agency, can be challenging and you have to be flexible/ able to adapt to various situations. Similarly, as an in-home clinician you can feel isolated from your coworkers if you don't reach out to them while in the office or during team meetings. Because you make your own schedule the hours can vary from week to week and this can, at times, be frustrating.

Pros

Management is knowledgeable and supportive. The culture is laid back and friendly. The owners are genuine people who appreciate their employees not just a corporation out for money. Initial trainings are effective and hands on--you aren't just thrown to the wolves.

Cons

Hours and as a result, pay, are variable due to cancellations by clients. However, in comparison to most ABA companies in the area the pay and benefits are competitive.

Flexible hours, higher pay than standard and highly positive work environment in-homes and with genuinely kind people that want to add to the world

Cons

Management highly resistant to genuine feedback/change, *highly inconsistent pay* / no guaranteed hours and corporate reluctancy to accept genuine value-centered standards of practice
