Hi, All feedback is valuable to us, so thank you for taking the time to leave a review on your time with Computacenter on Glassdoor. As you’ve identified, the Computacenter leadership team are both enthusiastic and ambitious. However, they also believe in doing the right-thing at the right-time for the long-term benefit of our customers, employees and our shareholders. As a result, they are highly regarded both within our company and in the external market. For example, 86% of Glassdoor respondents rate our CEO, Mike Norris, favourably. We’ve made great progress since acquiring FusionStorm in the US in 2018. However, as you’ve pointed out we’re very keen to expand this part of business further. I’m sorry to hear that you felt that there were limited opportunities for personal growth whilst you were at Computacenter. Likewise, it is disappointing that you felt our compensation package was disappointing. As you don’t mention what location or business area you worked in whilst you were employed at Computacenter, I wonder if you would mind dropping me an email to shaun.fincher@computacenter.com so that I can record and pass your anonymised feedback on to the relevant team? In the meantime, I wish you good luck for the future!

Pros

Great location, great co workers, great leadership

Cons

Can be a bit too sales focused and forget that other departments are just as important. Lots of perks for sales that are not availbale to anyone else in the company

Pros

Pay and job title are crazy nice

Cons

This place is less data center more fulfillment center style. Walk in and are told to just copy that rack. No training. Then if you make a mistake they get mad even though nothing was explained.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for highlighting both the positives and the areas where we can improve. We’re pleased to hear that you value the pay and job title, but it’s disappointing to read that your experience with training and support has not met expectations. Starting in a new environment without clear guidance can be challenging, particularly in a technical role where structure and consistency are important. Your comments around the need for more effective onboarding, clearer instruction, and better support are important. We recognise that learning by observation alone is not sufficient for everyone, and creating an environment where people feel confident and set up for success is a key part of being a place where people matter. We also take seriously your point about how mistakes are handled. A supportive culture should ensure that people are guided constructively, especially while they are still learning. Thank you again for your honest feedback, which helps us continue improving the experience we provide
