Pros

Beautiful offices - can't choose between Hatfield or Blackfriars in terms of aesthetics.

Cons

Where do I start? Sales people who are celebrated despite most of them being being both misogynistic and completely useless at anything that involves actually activating their brains (as opposed to their over-inflated egos). So much praise and emphasis heaped on these characterless twits that they actually start to believe that they're some sort of demi-gods. They strut around in their ill-fitting suits and BlackBerrys and quite frankly it's embarrassing. Seeing people waste half their life in such a depressing and soulless environment makes me thank the lord I had the sense to get out within a year - so many employees start being unable to see a world outside of the grey, cold walls of Hatfield. Funny as most outsiders haven't even heard of Computacenter! The company needs to start treating the support staff and hard working "behind the scenes" employees, rather than just heaping all the rewards on to the sales force. It's unfair and demoralising. It's such a "who you know" company that it's virtually impossible to progress unless you're mates with one of the (probably incapable) managers of your department.

Pros

Great location, great co workers, great leadership

Cons

Can be a bit too sales focused and forget that other departments are just as important. Lots of perks for sales that are not availbale to anyone else in the company

Pros

Pay and job title are crazy nice

Cons

This place is less data center more fulfillment center style. Walk in and are told to just copy that rack. No training. Then if you make a mistake they get mad even though nothing was explained.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for highlighting both the positives and the areas where we can improve. We’re pleased to hear that you value the pay and job title, but it’s disappointing to read that your experience with training and support has not met expectations. Starting in a new environment without clear guidance can be challenging, particularly in a technical role where structure and consistency are important. Your comments around the need for more effective onboarding, clearer instruction, and better support are important. We recognise that learning by observation alone is not sufficient for everyone, and creating an environment where people feel confident and set up for success is a key part of being a place where people matter. We also take seriously your point about how mistakes are handled. A supportive culture should ensure that people are guided constructively, especially while they are still learning. Thank you again for your honest feedback, which helps us continue improving the experience we provide
