Bureaucracy? If you're the really aggressive kind then this might not be the place for you. Things move at a deliberate place and most managers are unwilling to share responsibility so you're position in the totem pole is always clear. Approachable yes? True leaders, No. Micromanagement is rampant across teams from what I saw. When people realize they've hit this ceiling they move on and that's what you will notice across teams.
Pay is moderate, not bad but nothing to write home about.
