Pros
I don't know; I held out, hoping that one day an all-hands meeting wouldn't stress me out over the company, but that day never came. My manager was a good person and understanding, but that's not a reflection of the company since he recently got laid off as well.
Cons
Incompetent upper management, no control or direction on projects, outdated company culture, zero documentation or communication from branch management, and I'm somehow expected to make something from nothing. Suddenly, when I thought I was making progress or experiencing job growth after a year at the company, despite over 7 rounds of layoffs, I found myself caught in the 4th wave. How would any new hire be able to grow in an environment like this? There was zero incentive to do well and no clear goal to work towards from Engineering.
