The patients who came in each day sometimes wanted to go somewhere else, but still came to say hello. Other employees gave feedback and said to run, but you stay for the money.

Being taken for granted – when your efforts or care aren’t appreciated. Emotional manipulation / emotional abuse – when someone plays with your feelings to benefit themselves. Transactional relationship – when one side only gives as long as they’re getting something.
