Pros
The people, patients and co workers. As for urgent care, it is a step above the competition. Pay and benefits are much better than the competition, but like So Flo, far below the national average.
Cons
It's urgent care / Occu Med, never make plans when on closing shift. No cares about closing times, they'll walk in at 5 til, and you'll be there 2 hours late. Also, Humana sold them to Select Medical, which lives up to it's dismal reputation. First thing they did was cut bennies, 401k matches, and eliminate colleague referral bonuses. Turn around time bonuses were also reduced, but so is staff, so you ain't making them anyway. That's why all the good people flee....and very little upward mobility for clinical staff.
