Pros

The pay was okay and the work was repetitive in a good way (you always knew what to do).

Cons

When I was there, they had a huge culture issue. It wasn't fully company-wide, but in my department there was rampant cronyism, racism, and sexism. I tried to officially report my manager for sexual harassment and was told, by a woman no less, that it didn't matter if he did it or not because they would put the full weight of their legal team (they were owned by Humana at the time, so I was threatened with Humana's full legal team, actually) behind management over another employee every single time. Now, I don't know if that's true or not but I didn't have the resources to fight back, and after that incident, I was bullied and harassed by other team members and managers till I quit. Before that, I was "indispensable" and a top producer, so they used that excuse to pile an impossible amount of work on me and then wrote me up for not completing it when I was still getting more done than any other team member (they sent out team stats weekly, so there were hard numbers to show this). Just be aware if you work in the Dallas area to watch out for this kind of problem and be ready to fight back if you experience the same thing. If you're lucky, it's already been addressed and you can enjoy your time there. Some of my coworkers on other teams never experienced these issues and enjoyed their time there, so it is possible.

Pros

The pay is higher than most employers offer for similar positions. The benefits like PTO & sick time are higher (with increased seniority).

Cons

No paid holidays. The culture is not as warm & "family-like" as it has been in the past. If you do not fit a specific "mold" for leadership they will not hire or promote you despite your vast knowledge & added value to the team.
