      Pros

      Good place to start right out of college or maybe your 2nd professional job. It is a place to sharpen your sales skills and organizational skills.

      Cons

      Very low pay for any seasoned sales pro. Too much is left up to customer and too much is asked of the AE role. Bringing JDL back won't correct this problem. Who cares about MBO's? We just plug the numbers before the quarter ends.

      Pros

      The pay is higher than most employers offer for similar positions. The benefits like PTO & sick time are higher (with increased seniority).

      Cons

      No paid holidays. The culture is not as warm & "family-like" as it has been in the past. If you do not fit a specific "mold" for leadership they will not hire or promote you despite your vast knowledge & added value to the team.
