      Good learning experience for newer MAs/x-ray techs as Concentra functions as both a traditional urgent care and occupational medicine clinic seeing worker's compensation patients and performing employer services such as physicals, bloodwork, PFTs, mask fittings, etc.; opportunities for quick advancement possible with lead positions and additional x-ray certifications (class sponsored by Concentra)

      Frequently added new responsibilities with inadequate compensation, worked overtime most days due to policy of allowing walk-ins until closing time, Touchworks EHR system can be difficult to use

      Pros

      The pay is higher than most employers offer for similar positions. The benefits like PTO & sick time are higher (with increased seniority).

      Cons

      No paid holidays. The culture is not as warm & "family-like" as it has been in the past. If you do not fit a specific "mold" for leadership they will not hire or promote you despite your vast knowledge & added value to the team.
