Pros
Above average benefits for the Laurel Highlands region. There were some interesting projects to work on, back in the day. Ability to work on DoD projects from far outside the Capital Beltway.
Cons
Heavily dependent upon the Federal government for contract work. Ultra-political. Lots of nepotism. When the work dried up, employees paid for it by getting hit with unscheduled furloughs.
