Pros
There are a lot of very smart and decent people that want to do good work and earn a living while solving challenging problems for clients at CTC. Most of the people are dedicated and want to do great work. The benefits are very good and the pay is competitive. The work is interesting and challenging and they have a unique competitive advantage as a non-profit, technical organization.
Cons
Suffers from a history of "living high on the hog" and became bloated in management and overhead staff. Not an easy situation to solve but doable. The CEO seems genuine about making changes to better the organization. Needs to build a technical reputation and put its problem-solving staff first, since they are the ones bringing in the "dough". It appears to have a plan and direction for where to go from here. The next year or two will determine whether it becomes a great company, remains a mediocre company or becomes irrelevant.
