Pros
I'm able to work with some of the newest technologies on the market. If I'm dissatisfied with a project, I'm able to switch to a different project (with some effort). The workforce is on the young side (which can be both good and bad). If one is working with a good team and an efficient manager it's possible to have a lot of fun, have a lot of creative satisfaction, and still be able to manage a 40-hour work week. Johnstown has a very low cost of living and is close to nature, State College, Pittsburgh, and DC.
Cons
Management is frequently ex-military, and as such do not understand technology very well. It appears to be difficult to get promoted without a military background. There are too many layers of middle management, and it's difficult to understand what those managers do. There's too much focus on process and not enough on pragmatism. Gray cubicles are so nineteen eighty.
