Pros
Conductor, as a company is a fun, exciting, energized place to work. There are exciting opportunities for talent right out of the college to senior level positions. No one gets lost in the mix, everyone works, everyone contributes as the opportunity for promotion is definitely available. The normal free snacks, cereal, and other amenities one would expect from a start up.
Cons
I'm sure (I hope) my experience was a one-off, however. For me, in my specific situation, I have never felt more useless, more "in the way" than working at Conductor. I've been in the work force for a long time, and never have I been so dismissed, had my opinion questioned so quickly, or my ideas shot down so consistently. Suffice to say, this was not a good marriage, I did not look forward to going to work. Sadly, within three months of working there, I began looking for a new job. Things started to get a little better, however, that did not last very long. Two months into rekindling my search for a new job I was let go. Thank. You. For. That. Not naming names, of course, you know who you are, but if you don't, you're not paying attention. I can't really say I learned anything at Conductor, perhaps know when to cut the cord when you're getting rope burn.
