Pros

There is nothing positive about this job.

Cons

Mandatory work on Saturdays when recruiter only told you 1 Saturday a month, management stuck on favoritism and never stays during mandatory work, expect to have your job threatened on a daily basis, if management doesn’t like you they will make it their mission to get your fired over the dumbest things, equipment to properly do your job is older than you and rarely work, techs that are there to fix equipment don’t do their jobs because they’re a 3rd party, constantly sick because of the dust and dirt that cakes the inside of the building, expects the only janitor to clean and maintain the building by themselves with no help and it’s still disgusting, managers don’t care if you’re about to be homeless or if you lose a loved one they expect you to work without complaint. Expect a raise every 5-7 years and struggle paycheck to paycheck, terrible benefits and insurance.

Pros

The only real advantage is the ability to work from home. My trainers were knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely tried to help despite the limitations of the training program.

Cons

The training is far too rushed for the complexity of the job. The trainers themselves are not the problem—they did their best—but two weeks of training followed by one week of nesting is simply not enough. You're expected to learn numerous systems, document calls accurately, understand complex fraud procedures, and handle back-to-back calls from frustrated or angry customers with very little hands-on practice. There wasn't enough call shadowing or realistic mock calls to build confidence before taking live calls. The learning curve is overwhelming, and the high turnover rate reflects that. On top of that, the pay does not match the stress, workload, or expectations of the position.
