Pros

-Good food -Can have meals taken from pay -Shuttle from parking -Overtime if you want it

Cons

-They want you to maintain certifications/licenses but are not given opportunities to advance unless you're in medical -Retention of employees is not prioritized like hiring new employees is -Huge bonuses for new employees while current employees are working short staffed with no bonuses, raise in pay, or other incentives other than a "thank you" email here and there -Consistently working outside of your job description and not paid the difference even though you're working another job title for much less -Communication is highly lacking in many departments and across departments -Departments throughout the company don't even know about programs the company has for patients -Help for patients that come in with addiction issues are only offered if the provider wants to offer them, and only if the nurse mentions the addiction issues to the provider in the first place -Staffing is short in all departments with employees quitting daily due to overwork and no appreciation

Pros

Decent pay rates and large contract bonus.

Cons

This is hands down the most toxic work environment I’ve ever been in. Management is unprofessional, does not want to deal with complaints but will absolutely engage in the drama- only to perpetuate it. The work requirements are so much. You circulate in your rooms, do most of the turn overs, pick all of your cases for the next day, do a ton of stocking, respond of OBGYN emergencies too because the OB staff refuses to learn how to circulate a c-section (and that’s ok?) The staff that are long termers are miserable human beings, they actively work against you rather than orient you-it’s more fun to make the surgeons think you’re an idiot, everyone talks smack as soon as a person leaves the room. Teamwork and collaboration don’t exist, which isn’t great for patient outcomes. The manager thinks if there weren’t so many females maybe it would be better.
