      Pros

      As many people have noted the HR team is fantastic and the benefits at Consigli are fantastic. There are many opportunities to participate in workplace sponsored community events, staff outings, etc.

      Cons

      Some departments have a very bad culture and the teams are not unified or friendly. Be able to adjust to cursing, screaming management who can't handle any pressure. Daily "meltdowns" and negativity are the norm. There is a clear group of favorites in the marketing group and if you are not in that club get ready to have a miserable working environment. Team members work their tails off but receive little to no support from their department manager. It is very likely you will be blamed for department failures.

      Some good people in the local DC office

      Cons

      Pay is below average (135k/year), Benefits are below average, Very little bonus (less than 5k for a senior PM who excelled at job). Company is ran from Massachusetts office (main) and has a team full of people in the main Mass. Office whose entire job is to constantly nag people in the DC office for not following procedures. The Mass. office has no clue about the DC market but wants to pick subcontractors for every project based on price without knowing anything about DC sub market. The Mass. office buys out the jobs with central purchasing and hands over a mess on every job. The following of procedures is more important to the main office than getting the jobs done and making money.
