Pros

If you can play politics and stroke the managers ego you can receive a great bonus check.

Cons

There is zero training. No training manual, no safety training and not heavy equipment training. New hires are sent on the road with no or very little knowledge of how to drive a 24 ft flatbed let alone strap down bundles of conduit. there were several times incorrectly secured loads fell off the truck. Anyone regardless of experience can drive the fork lift with no training. There are no criteria to be met to increase your yearly bonus. It is determined by the managers opinion of you. There are not any type of rating or goals being met that are used. random.

Pros

The company has a very easy pace of work. I would recommend this to someone who is content with their career advancement and would like to coast. The workload is very manageable. Expectations are focused on uptime, with major infrastructure redundancies already in place. Benefits are good, and the profit-sharing is a nice perk that encourages retention. I would argue this is a good place to be to end your career and ride until retirement.

Cons

-Minimal PTO - two weeks to start. -No HR, it can be hard to figure out the benefits -Career advancement doesn't really exist -Behind in terms of technology
