      Pros

      In my long career journey, I have worked in multiple large organizations spanning varied industries and Constellation has been the best place to work by far. From the top leadership down throughout the IT organization, there is great collaboration support and understanding. Beyond the day-to-day work environment, it is great to work for a company with a great purpose making a real impact for our environment and the communities we serve. Finally, Constellation provides the best benefit package I have ever had, so I wouldn't to work any place else.

      Cons

      Similar to any large organization, there is occasional frustration with red tape and the speed with which change can be made, but not more than the average large corporation from my perspective.

      Pros

      Coworkers are all intelligent and overall good people to spend 12hrs a day with.

      Cons

      The department is perpetually understaffed. You’ll never actually work an 8hr shift, because no one is dumb enough to vote for that schedule. There’s not enough operators to fill the schedule without being forced all the time for 16hr shifts. Be prepared to be forced for OT on a regular basis even with a 12hr schedule. If your family is important, then this probably is not a good long-term plan. You’re going to miss sports, holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, etc. You live at work and home is a place you sleep. The company might advertise company holidays, but that just means you get paid a little more for being here on those days.
