Full disclosure - I worked at Omniplex (before the acquisition to Constellis). I had a coworker that management was specifically tracking her browser activity - like if she stepped away or was idle for too long, they questioned her. She had to answer for every minute of the day. We did keep track of how long we spent on cases, which felt normal - but hearing that they were tracking her so closely felt super unnecessary. We're all adults, and should be able to step away for a bathroom break or a snack or to help your kid if needed, etc rather than being treated like you have to work nonstop or else you're in trouble. I don't necessarily know all the ins and outs of that particular situation, but at the time, it felt a bit overboard.
