This is indeed a call center. You get that grumpy fellow who feels he's been wronged on his bill or something from time to time. You have monthly metrics to meet, meaning your performance on the phone is measured and analyzed. You have to be able t shake your failures off and get back in the game and give yourself a fresh start to overcome those challenges. But not to worry, remember that amazing support staff I mentioned? They'll be with you every step of the way.
