Pros

at the end of the day, a paycheck is a paycheck

Cons

Can I mention micromanagement again? Jesus christ. You couldn't breathe without asking for group approval and a meeting. I get that it's healthcare and everything has to be done with integrity and respect, however, when your employees are pressured to come into work while dealing with an injury (like a concussion for example) it's a sign your work environment might be a bit toxic. This is a big company that runs nationally but it was likable for being a homegrown, Missoula organization (back in the day). It's lost all sense of identity and upper management flashes their nice cars and flex schedules while stepping on the rest of us. And if you have a problem? You're screwed because the head of HR makes ableist jokes and thinks your complaint is BS.

Pros

Not many benefits to working for this company other than the fact that you don't have to work for an agency so you have more control over who your clients are. It is essentially a barely functioning payroll company for the government.

Cons

Getting hired on takes way longer than their willing to tell you. You have to stay constantly on top of them to get the process done. To get any process done really. Their admin team is much MUCH too small for the size of this company. So the second something needs to be approved by them, expect 3-4 weeks of waiting. Also expect them to not tell you that. Additionally, when you get linked with a new client. They will tell you that that's going to take a week or so. In all the years I've worked here I've never had them do it sooner than 4 weeks. And thats with me calling to check about it all the time. They also don't pay nearly enough for the work.
