Pros

Some of my direct peers are fun to work with. This is because the company hires mainly graduates and you can make some friends.

Cons

I have never enjoyed working at Content Guru. If you are reading these reviews because you have been contacted by a recruiter, read the negative reviews as most of them give a fairly decent representation of the company. Most of the positive reviews are fake (theres a common joke about this around the office). The last few months have taken a turn for the worse. The company is in full blown panic mode as its total growth is pegged to about two or three large key customers and 'lucky' sales. The directors are visibly more on edge, and its because the investment firm is putting serious pressure on the business to maintain its growth and report on activity. This would be fine if we had a plan or good management to help the sales and engineering team but we don't. This has resulted in a state of disarray as there are no serious, qualified opportunities passing through the business and existing customers are leaving like rats fleeing a sinking ship. To add to the confusion, we are now trying to sell technology which is not fully developed or not developed at all. The company needs to grow a brain. The company provides no support, does not have a strong management structure and the cracks are becoming larger and larger each day. With the exception of the new graduate hires, most if not all of my team is looking to leave, with people actively interviewing for other roles at other companies. If you are reading this, buyer beware!

Pros

Our #1 ranked CSAT and 99.999% platform SLA gets a lot of attention. While we are newer to the US market, our experience globally is very apparent to people who are discovering us.

Cons

Lack of market awareness is challenging at times, but that's the same for any newer brand trying to break into a new region. We are making progress every day and the CCaaS space is starting to notice.

Pros

Good pay (slightly above market)

Cons

- Culture is toxic and overly critical. Management tends to micromanage and fixate on minor issues, while providing little training and expecting you to figure things out on your own. There’s very little support, and the constant scrutiny makes it hard to do your job confidently. - Collaboration is honestly a joke. Coworkers are often reluctant to take ownership of their responsibilities and tend to casually give attitude when you ask them to follow through. Basic teamwork sometimes feels like a challenge. - Feedback is mostly focused on mistakes, with little recognition when you actually do well, which makes it hard to feel valued. Overall, expectations feel inconsistent, and it often seems like no matter what you do, it’s never enough. It’s the kind of environment where morale stays low and people are more focused on avoiding blame than actually doing good work.
