Pros

The product - well known, trusted, easy to sell, interesting and inspired Many of the people The office building and it's proximity to town/Wetherspoons/escape routes

Cons

A business built on a product, not a plan. Lack of: Communication and continuity - vertically and laterally, Middle management - the efficient and trusted type, Employees - and the current ones are overworked and undervalued, Females, Care and consideration - of the workers from "the top", Trust and respect - of "the top" from the workers - stemming from the above, Training - unless a half-hearted, bare-minimum approach is all you need, A genuine feeling of enjoyment, happiness and job satisfaction from a large proportion of the employees. An abundance of: The blame game, Egos, strops and power play - god forbid you step out of line on the wrong day, People leaving, "It's just the Redwood way" and "you get used to it" attitudes, "Put up with it for the money" attitudes. I've never worked somewhere before (and hope to never again) where the only time the MD bothers to meet you, he shakes your hand on the first day, and sends a message down the pipe line to "fire" you on your last. NB - no matter how much you want to, you cannot technically fire someone who quit the day before...

Pros

Our #1 ranked CSAT and 99.999% platform SLA gets a lot of attention. While we are newer to the US market, our experience globally is very apparent to people who are discovering us.

Cons

Lack of market awareness is challenging at times, but that's the same for any newer brand trying to break into a new region. We are making progress every day and the CCaaS space is starting to notice.

Pros

Good pay (slightly above market)

Cons

- Culture is toxic and overly critical. Management tends to micromanage and fixate on minor issues, while providing little training and expecting you to figure things out on your own. There’s very little support, and the constant scrutiny makes it hard to do your job confidently. - Collaboration is honestly a joke. Coworkers are often reluctant to take ownership of their responsibilities and tend to casually give attitude when you ask them to follow through. Basic teamwork sometimes feels like a challenge. - Feedback is mostly focused on mistakes, with little recognition when you actually do well, which makes it hard to feel valued. Overall, expectations feel inconsistent, and it often seems like no matter what you do, it’s never enough. It’s the kind of environment where morale stays low and people are more focused on avoiding blame than actually doing good work.
