They have always made a profit every year for 50 years. The future is bright for Cook, and they have no plans of changing their family owned, "always do what is right" business model. Company car, cellphone, iPad, office supplies, home internet, and laptop computer, are offered to all in-field sales reps.
Cons
Salaries tend to be lower than other medical device companies, but job stability and added benefits seem to compensate the lower salaries. Because it is a family owned company, there is little hierarchy in the company. Different divisions have few opportunities for advancement unless one is willing to relocate to the home office in Bloomington, IN.
