Pros
I’ve always enjoyed doing refrigeration and have been in the field for almost 30- years and everything has changed twice over. The training us Tech’s get here is absolutely the best that I’ve seen, and have worked at 3- or 4 companies. The fact you can rest after being out all night running service with a sleep ticket is something that doesn’t happen in the real world of service! This has been the best company I’ve ever worked for, and so far the people I work with ( other than a few Tech’s not mentioned) are a great bunch of guys. I would like to see more of us getting together and knowing each other a little more, but times are changing , and not sure if the younger crowd still do those kinds of things. But over all is a great company to work for, the Summer hours are always long and hard, but that’s our trade. But when help is needed, there are always guys to volunteer, I have been out on stores that had huge leaks of refrigerant, and my boss came out and helped - brought refrigerant and helped with repairs and stayed until the job was done. The other companies that I worked for “On Call “ schedule were 7-days on call , so that was day and night and would get so tired that by the 7th day you were a walking zombie . So again if I run across any service tech’s in parts houses, I’m always telling them how great this company is to work for. Thank you for reading
Cons
More help with filling out our Medical to include our spouses and coverage would help me a lot. I know it’s for the better of the Company, but sooo many sites on the company portal, and so many have changed to different or new sites it’s getting very confusing
