Pros

Some opportunity for overtime. A pay-check. 401K. Decent benefits.

Cons

Loyalty, hard work and integrity are not rewarded. A long-time employee with stellar annual reviews and a college degree can be passed over for advancement by a loud screaming high school drop out with zero work ethic. At Core-Mark, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Raises are given arbitrarily not based on merit, but whining and threatening to quit. Supervisors are completely unqualified and lazy, but Corporate pays them 30% less than the regional average for supervisors, so you get what you pay for.

Pros

Potential for higher pay, free boots and uniforms, higher level of respect compared to other local drivers, minimum $1500 a week. The Wilkes Barre location treated me very well.

Cons

Long hours, might run out of hours if you’re inexperienced
