Pros
I always disliked Recruitment Consultants with their fat Tie knots and slicked back hair making promises that were wildly unrealistic and COREcruitment was built on being the exact opposite of that. I would never have joined them let alone worked there for 11 years otherwise. Ethics are number 1 there and applicant choices are based on the best decision for both parties rather than sales targets and quotas. Recruiter bashing is a big thing in this sector and people love to claim recruiters post fake jobs or increase salaries on ads and the reason most people make claims like that is because they weren't considered for the job (so they assume it's not real) or wouldn't have qualified for the top end of the salary band. I loved knowing that whatever people were saying about the sector as a whole we were never like that. There's always events and treats in the office and the team were great fun.
Cons
Having to decline people for jobs is the hardest part especially when you think they should have been taken on the client didn't. Otherwise there will always be elements to the job like cold calling that are salesy but have to be done - not a fan of that at all but head down and dial!! :)
