Pros

It’s a job. The health insurance is decent.

Cons

Fleetcor is an acquisition company. When they bought our company, they told us that they have no plan for us. They don’t know what to do other than continue buying the competition. Their apparent goal is to buy and destroy everything they touch. They have “all hands” meetings to brag about them billions of dollars they make in profit but refuse to offer any type of incentive or longevity pay increase, despite inflation and the cost of living being high where this division exists. I have had 4 managers in the last 2 years. (Repeating this for the people in the back): Four managers in two years. There is no consistency, there is no continuity. No one in current management knows what they are doing because the uppers keep running existing managers off, leaving no opportunity to explain projects to incoming managers - usually the managers don’t know they’re managers until Fleetcor springs it on them and then expects miracles. Managers are expected to know their job and ours, but never ever have the opportunity to learn exactly what their team does. No one that knows what to do wants to be management and people are finding new jobs at a record pace. The cesspool only gets deeper and I, like most of the other smart people there, will find a place that is a much better fit than Fleetcor. Avoid. Seriously… avoid it if you value your emotional (& physical) wellbeing.

Pros

I honestly cannot think of any..

Cons

Probably the worst company I have ever worked for. I get hired and thrown into a 2 week training program that has nothing to do my role. Start making calls and as soon as I “think” I’m improving, quota changes and becomes unrealistic with the way the distribution of leads are handled. You have to hope a manager is kind enough to let you have a successful day. As far as management, they were very distracting. Loud and talk about nothing as reps are told to focus and rely on a sales method that was dumped on the company. If you are a person that wants to progress and is focused on tasks, this job is not for you. It’s a rat race full of favorites.

Thank you for providing candid feedback about your experience on the Inside Sales team in Atlanta. Although your tenure was less than a year, we recognize its significance to you and take your concerns seriously. We are concerned that your training did not match your actual responsibilities and that you felt unprepared for the role. Misalignment between training and expectations can cause confusion and stress, particularly in a sales environment. Your feedback about changing quotas and lead distribution is important for us to review. Sales targets should be challenging yet achievable, and opportunity distribution should be fair and transparent. We also want to hear your perspective on management's behavior and the atmosphere on the floor. Feeling like you’re being asked to focus and perform at a high level while leadership is loud, distracting, or talking about unrelated topics can understandably feel frustrating and disrespectful. The perception of favoritism and a “rat race” environment is the opposite of the culture we want people to experience. Your feedback is a clear reminder that how leaders show up—how they communicate, support, and model professionalism—has a direct impact on how people experience their work. Your feedback about the management team, though difficult to hear, is valuable. While we cannot change your experience, we will use your insights to review our onboarding, support, and leadership practices, and to reset expectations with managers where needed. Thank you again for your honesty. We appreciate your contributions and wish you success in finding a more supportive role in the future.
