Pros

the residents are hands down always the best part, it’s why i stayed, it’s why i did what i did! i found a love i never knew i would have. listening to their stories, listening to them sing to me, looking at their puzzles, spending one on one time. Everyday was different and i enjoyed it.

Cons

when reporting negligence in the workplace i.e medications being missed, residents being left for long periods of time, etc. hostile work place environment i.e employees yelling in front of residents, throwing items, taking anger out on the residents. It’s ALL over looked and or used against you, then you become the target, anything you say and or do from that point on is monitored, any wrong move… they’re watching and you get the boot, which is what happened but they keep the ones that are going to burn this business down.

Pros

work-life balance, employee first, competitive pay, time off, flexibility-After spending 7.5 years in various roles in hospice, I joined the organization in February 2025 and have been continually impressed ever since. CorsoCare is an incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and employee-first company that is always striving to grow and improve. The culture is unlike any other—management genuinely cares about your success and well-being. The work-life balance is excellent, the daily workload is reasonable, and leadership is compassionate, understanding, and open to new ideas.

Cons

office is a bit of a drive for me

Pros

The only pro to this job was connecting with the patients and their families.

Cons

Do not let them fool you. Unfortunately this company is like any other corporate healthcare system. Most of the executives are about making money and do not provide any guidance. They don't provide any training and send you out into the field on the second day excepting you to know everything.
