Pros
Some very nice people, excellent work/life balance (for me, anyway), nice facility, excellent benefits (when I was there, though vacation time could be increased). Few people actually knew what my job entailed, so I had a lot of autonomy and often worked independently. This was good in that it made my job relatively low in stress and the work/life balance was very good.
Cons
Palpable feeling that everyone is replaceable and that one's job is temporary. I saw many cycles of hiring and downsizing as the company struggled to figure out its direction. I rarely felt integral to my department or the company overall; I was often not included in briefings and overlooked for the recognition that many of my peers received (though my work was good, often excellent). So I would say that recognition is inconsistent.
