the employee discount is solid. the customers are amazing. the dress code is relaxed. most store employees are great to work with.
Cons
corporate is out of touch with the industry and reality. the people who run this company have no idea what their customers actually want. they have insanely high quotas for sales goals, credit card sign ups, and virtual hair show tickets, and they pull you aside if you aren't meeting their unrealistic expectations.
they want you to constantly increase store sales and build baskets but they never send enough products to meet the demand. corporate penalizes store employees for not selling products that have been out of stock for weeks.
the POS systems, store credit cards, online hair shows, mobile app, customer accounts, store ipads, and phone lines consistently run into technical difficulties. Corporate does nothing to fix the issues. IT and customer service are very rarely helpful, because the glaring issues in the company's technology is far beyond their control.
basically they want store employees to sell products that dont exist, run cash registers that dont work, answer phones that dont ring, and use apps/websites that never load, all for insultingly low pay.
