Pros

Most of the people I worked with were nice and helpful being new. The benefits were great, need time to read and go through everything. the times were good I enjoyed coming in at 4 for stocking when they needed extra help, time goes by faster.

Cons

I would say the managers on the floor were not easily approachable, they looked over whelmed or as if they didn't have time to talk, it is fast paced. I was told by another employee to keep to my work and not talk much, and found out they don't care much on customer service, from someone from the floor as one who enjoys helping people I guess they have a department for that, so send the customer to some else while I keep to doing my job at task and just keep moving, take your break and get back to it, no talking just say welcome the customer and keep folding or straightening.

Pros

Very affordable high quality health insurance benefits even for PT employees. Great for working parents who split up child care and need coverage. The key to succeeding at Costco is to work hard, have a good attitude and be nice to people. It's hard work and fasted paced, you have to be down for that to succeed.

Cons

At this warehouse you are required to work 5 days per week, even if you are PT at 24 or so hours. This means lots of 4-5 hour shifts rather than fewer 8 hour shifts which is tough for those who commute a long distance to work or have to cover day care.
