Pros

Some people were genuinely nice to work with and try really hard, even though there was no official guidance or training on how to do your job as a tax researcher.

Cons

-Micro-management -Little to no job specific job training (told to shadow someone for a couple of days, then "go to work". By the way if you fail the responsibility is on your shoulders) -Too many "Yes Man" -No formal management training for those whom were promoted to team leaders (desperately needed especially since some "team leaders" would treat people with no respect. -Management would outright lie to client -Instructed staff to falsify or document non-concurrently in client databases/computer systems -Treated outsourced team in India as second-class people

Pros

The interview process was well-structured and I was able to have a good sense of the team culture. I spoke with people across research, product, engineering, and design leadership, and each conversation felt intentional rather than repetitive. Another thing that stood out was the onboarding experience, even after accepting the offer. Every step felt smooth - they were responsive, proactive, and thorough in a way that seems pretty rare nowadays. Anytime something came up that needed attention, they were already on it - I really appreciated that

Cons

The interview process has multiple stages and felt longer than other ones. Other than that, none I can think of currently

Pros

Camp L.I.F.T. is an incredible example of how Cotality brings its values to life through community impact and innovation. The program creates a meaningful opportunity to give back by inspiring young students to explore STEM, financial literacy, and leadership, while also fostering strong collaboration across teams and partners such as Foot Locker, Octane, ISACA, Google, and Cognizant. It’s truly energizing to be part of something that not only makes a difference for students, but also builds a strong sense of purpose and pride among employees.

Cons

There are very few downsides to the experience—if anything, the week goes by too quickly and it’s hard to choose which activities or sessions to be part of because there are so many great moments happening at once.
