Pros
You can wear what you want (shorts if the team hits its daily goal) - Kind of get to pick your own schedule
Cons
The company is very behind with technology (they don't use their own software for orders, they still use DOS). There is no training program for new employees other than sitting with a trainer watching him for 2-4 hours a day for a week. The CEO is almost 80 and he won't want to run this business into his 80s. They are not a financial stable company and I would guess they will be out of business within 3 years. If you're looking for growth within a company, Cougar Mountain is really not for you as there are sales reps, then the VP of Sales and CEO. The commission plan for sales reps keeps changing lowering the amount of money you can actually make for getting new business. They are losing more customers than they are gaining and most of your time is spent fielding complaint calls (8 out of 10 calls). I left on my own terms because I wanted growth and there isn't any with this company. Again, I am disgruntled I am just being honest. This is an over priced software that can't compete with the hundreds of other companies that do the same thing but for much cheaper. The majority of people who were there when I left are currently looking for new employment. Management is very negative towards their sales people "If we don't do X amount today in sales, the lights will have to go out or we will have to cut staff" I would not recommend going to work for this sinking ship.
