Little attention to nursing standards, high staff turnover, no room for advancement. They are stuck to the bad charge nurses for some reason. Certain staff were allowed to break the policies many times. Some of these people were "leaders" on their teams. Some departments have a reputation for treating patients poorly. I had a family member treated really bad in the Emergency Room. This happens, but it never seemed like they were putting it right. It felt overall like a culture of mediocrity.
