Pros
Free cable / Discounted internet and phone and premium services Benefits are pretty good Pension plan Because it is a private company, it invests in itself. Public companies don't do it to the level Cox does it.
Cons
Investment dollars are spread between markets inequitably; some markets get upgrades and others languish Engineering groups in the field sites hit a plateau and growth is difficult beyond that without going to corporate Corporate dictated a little too much in terms of design; innovation in the field sites was often ignored and dismissed for the corporate approved method
