Pros

Flexible pto Good benefits Friendly coworkers Weekly coaching

Cons

Quick burnout job Very drawn out hiring process They aren’t kidding when they say “the ‘C’ in Cox is for change”. Changes to the way we do things were literally happening every week sometimes multiple times a week which makes it extremely hard to build confidence in this role. Hourly pay starting out sucks which means you have to work harder to make a decent amount. The commission is a set amount unless you exceed the goal which is unrealistic. Commission is terrible for what they expect you to make each month. Some supervisors are very rude to the reps that are struggling. Training was way too long and you barely learn anything that you’ll actually need. You have to start out in residential inbound sales regardless of your experience and have to stay in that position for a full year before you can apply to switch departments which isn’t a guarantee.
