Pros

None! By far the worst company to work for.

Cons

Total disregard for safety, dot, and fmcsa regulations. The worst management i have ever dealt with. No guarantee that your gonna work everyday. Required to spend time working without getting paid. Management will change time cards without notification, removing time before pay is direct deposited. All work is done through apps that never work. Management will say you make your own schedule, that's a lie! You're forced to be available 24hrs. NO PAID DRIVE TIME! Management will have you charge customers for drive time without actually being able to claim it for the employee time. Customers are being cheated with charges that are severely marked up or made up.

Cox Fleet Response

In all my years responding to Glassdoor posts, this one is by far the most wrongful attack on our company that I have ever read. We have had our fair share of both positive and negative feedback over the years, and I'm always appreciative of people taking the time to write about their experiences; and any time there is negative feedback, I try to look at the response from the employees point of view and respond accordingly. In fact, there has been a few posts that have helped change how we do things; but your post is completely false and almost makes me think that you never worked for our company. First of all, anyone that has ever worked for us knows that we have a safety first culture. Our safety organization prides themselves in keeping our technicians safe on the job and providing the tools to ensure we are putting safe trucks on the road. If you were not following our safety policies, then I am thankful you are gone (if you were ever even here to begin with). Our management team has years of industry experience, and the majority of our frontline supervisors are former technicians who know exactly the challenges that a mobile technician deals with day in and day out. We have spent the last year and a half training all of our leaders on building a strong, team member culture. I assume your issues were more about accountability than with leadership. Obviously no one works 24/7, we pay for every hour worked (including drive time once you are on the job), and our clients are only billed for what our agreements allow us to. I could go on and on defending our company, but I assume most people that are reading your post realize that what you wrote was not accurate. I am proud of our 26 year history, are we perfect, no, but I have always stood behind our work and stood up for our team. Please call or email me so we can discuss your post. If you were an actual technician that worked for us you will have my contact information as it is readily available for everyone on our team. -Mike Dickinson

Pros

You will appreciate the people in your life who are good honest people more because of how poorly you will be treated.

Cons

The management in the NY market is terrible. If you want to use PTO that has been approved it depends on if the manager feels like it or not. Your significant other is going to be out of work for serious surgery and you want to use PTO so that you can pay your bills? Well too bad your manager didnt feel like it good luck with that late fee. Tell your manager a family member died unexpextedly and horrifically? Youll hear its part of life happens to everyone and a sigh because you are taking time off for a funeral. Expecting company supplied tools to be company supplied? Well quit being cheap is what my manager said to me over a 1200$ purchase. You have to get approval from your manager? Maybe he will get back to you maybe he will ignore you for an entire month. Hired for first shift but will be expected to work into the night and when you set a boundary that you weren't hired to work at night you'll be told that maybe you aren't the right fit for this job. If you think the amount of PTO in the job posting looks nice or the company supplied uniforms, laundering service, bonuses, or career development, company discounts well just keep scrolling because they're not telling the truth atleast for NY employees who arent over at their managers house for dinner. Cons include the management in NY.
