Pros

You build great bonds with the kiddos & parents Most families are accommodating Most Kiddos are young (under 3) and not aggressive Company provides Toys (bins at each client home) 1 hour pay for Last minute cancellations Great Supervisors

Cons

Full time employment is not guaranteed, client cancellations are very frequent (more frequent than other ABA companies) likely due to how young the kiddos are. Large gaps between clients and it is not reimbursed (only drive time & mileage is reimbursed) Scheduler tries her best to fill schedule but client cancellations create those 2-3 hour gaps often- you dont have control of your schedule (other ABA companies allow you to plan your schedule with your families) PTO is satisfactory but used towards Sick days/Call off Lots of driving- use of your own vehicle Occasional unclean home environments- dirty bathrooms (count on using public restrooms often)

Pros

Great experience if you want to work with children with complex needs in the future. BCBA’s are helpful.

Cons

It can be a physically and mentally demanding job so always ask for support when you need it.

Pros

• this company seriously advocates for their employees mental wellbeing • they are very attentive to their employees and professional • last minute cancellations are paid for and if you do get a cancellation, there are many many sub sessions that they have that they offer you. It’s not very often where they don’t have a sub session for you to accept. • great communication • amazing compensation for wasted time/drive time/waiting periods/cancellations

Cons

• a lot a lot of driving which can cause that draining feeling • no clinic, session is held in-home • no extra pay for RBTs & they do not pay for you to get your RBT certification but there is an opportunity to apply as a trainer to new employees every 6 months. • not a good work/life balance for me since there’s so much driving • hourly is low but good for a start
