Gym on second floor. basketball court on third floor. Cafeteria has good coffee machine and ample space, Vendor stocks self-checkout periodically. 'End of Month' lunches. Individual cubicles. Mothers rooms on first and second floor. No toxicity from coworkers (at least on my end]. Free/discount Astros tickets. discount rodeo carnival. Crane points to buy from their shop. Open communication and teamwork. Fun and challenging company/building-wide games, raffles, and events.

Cons

Some clients/customs/vendors are difficult to deal with but is expected in the industry

- remote - great quarterly incentive - modern tech stack

Cons

The biggest downside of working at Crane is the top down culture of micro management. This includes daily checklists for jira updates, tracking software that tracks things such as who you talk to most on Teams, code reviews that focus more on formatting and white spaces rather than logic and delivering value, and the list goes on. Crane was not like this when I first joined and the IT department grew substantially, but I think chalking it up to scaling is more of an excuse than true root cause. Additionally, communication from leadership is awful and paired with the micromanagement leads to low morale across the engineering team.
