Working with babies was a treat; they presented with more trust than the Regional Managers and Corporate employees offered.
Cons
Corporate is more concerned with insulating (unqualified) "original" company employees with salary, promotions, praise and recognition. When the company decided to be sold from Cortech, the Pres & VP only interviewed prospective buyers who would agree to keep corporate AZ personnel. The interview process was arduous, lengthy and ridiculous. That stated, as picky as CT VIPs, RMs and managers are they micromanage the clinic personnel and offer very little trust. Corporate Staff and Regional Managers need to be appraised of most ALL consultations, recommendations or events. For instance, if a clinician does not recommend treatment, his/her case is reviewed by the Regional Manager AND Corporate (therapists - people who hold the same degrees, but differing opinions). Thus, in most instances, clinicians almost ALWAYS recommend treatment, even in mild cases to avoid dealing with Regional Managers and (micro)Management (leaving parents devastated and confused as to whether they should shell out a small fortune to treat their child if insurance doesn't cover treatment). At hiring the company promises M-F, 9-5ish hours, but when quotas are not met they offer Saturday appointments for consultations, which employees are strongly encouraged to work (and receive negative repercussions from Regional Managers if unavailable!). Parents of patients who receive weekend consults expect weekend availability for treatment (bait & lure), making it uncomfortable for staff to explain. CT offers benefits, but at an exorbitant cost to the employee! There are many more cons, but if the previous issues fail to dissuade you from applying, best wishes!
