You get to work on some of the coolest computing tech on the planet. Management is not afraid to invest in skills development. Customer interactions are generally with skilled technical people. On call time is compensated.
Cons
During new system deployment the work-life balance can be very much unbalanced. It's uncommon, but you can end up on the hook to remediate an issue without sufficient help from senior technical leadership.
