Pros

I’m a recent graduate, and this is my fifth week since joining Credit Genie, and honestly, I feel incredibly lucky. I have zero regrets about making the decision to join the Data & Analytics team this February. As a startup, the culture here is flat, fast-moving, and highly collaborative, everyone is super approachable. What surprised me most is how open our CEO and team director are. They regularly take the time to share the company’s direction, current milestones, and even details like revenue composition and business models. Being looped in on those strategic plans helps me reflect on the work I’m doing and think about how I can position myself in the company’s future. That’s incredibly valuable for a new grad like me. It’s not just about checking off tasks, but thinking big, learning from brilliant teammates, and understanding the direct impact of my work. Every month, we have Collaboration Week, where everyone comes together at the Plymouth Meeting office. It’s such a great opportunity to get to know your colleagues, sometimes a quick chat in the pantry turns into a knowledge-packed conversation or even the start of a cool project. Now, let’s talk about the work. Yes, it’s a startup, steep learning curves, challenging tasks, ad-hoc requests… but for me, it’s all worth it. Seniors on the team are always willing to offer thoughtful feedback, and your work is respected. The company also offers excellent benefits, including 401k matches, comprehensive insurance with minimal out-of-pocket costs, meal credits, and fitness support, snacks, etc. The talent density here is high, if you're goal-oriented, self-driven, and love working with smart, collaborative people, just come join us!

Cons

The work often involves challenging tasks and unexpected ad hoc requests. It requires adaptability and strong time management, but the experience is incredibly rewarding if you're up for the challenge.

Pros

- Talent is top of their fields - Endless opportunity for growth - Genuine belief in the future impact of what we're building - Competitive comp + benefits

Cons

Pace is fast, but not unmanageable. At this stage, this is not a place to come and coast. I'm one among many parents to young children - despite the pace, I still feel supported in doing what I need to do for my family.

Pros

I’ve been at Credit Genie for six months, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to watch the business evolve, from securing new partnerships to expanding our product offerings, while preserving that close-knit, entrepreneurial spirit. The company’s rapid growth keeps every day exciting, and there’s always a fresh challenge to tackle. What really stands out are the people. Everyone, from new hires to executives, is approachable, collaborative, and genuinely invested in each other’s success. Whether you have a big idea or just need a sounding board, someone is ready to listen, brainstorm, and roll up their sleeves to help. * Business Growth & Learning: Between growing our customer base and opening new offices, there’s always an opportunity to take on new challenges and broaden your skill set. * Culture & Fun: Beyond hackathons, we enjoy regular off-sites, team dinners/happy-hours, and impromptu ping-pong tournaments. Hard work and fun go hand in hand here. * Transparency & Communication: Senior leaders share business metrics, the product roadmap, quarterly goals, wins, and setbacks in a straightforward way that builds trust and makes you feel like a true partner. * Room to Grow Professionally: Career paths are wide open. I’ve taken on responsibilities beyond my original role, attended industry conferences, and received mentorship and training—all with enthusiastic support from leadership.

Cons

Ambitious roadmaps can feel intense at times, but open dialogue and strong team camaraderie make it very manageable.
