Crescent Electric has been a successful and growing family owned business since 1919. We are one of the top 10 electrical distributors in the nation. We aren’t going anywhere. All companies of our size will occasionally close a business location. Economies change, markets change, customers change, competition changes, supplier lines change, employees change, etc. Closing a location is difficult for employees, customers, and the Company but it is sometimes necessary. Crescent Electric has clear policies against harassment of any kind and provides multiple avenues for employees to bring concerns to the Human Resources Department. Employees sign off on our harassment prevention policy on a regular basis and we require managers to go through training on this subject. If the HR Department received a complaint, it would have been immediately investigated and addressed. Furthermore, if this person was a manager as claimed, they were the primary person responsible for maintaining proper discipline and conduct in the branch, ensuring proper communication was occurring, and ensuring a workplace free of harassment of all types.
