As recent college graduate, a career in consulting has been extremely engaging and rewarding. I have enjoyed the fast paced environment that requires prompt analysis and decision-making. In consulting, no day nor project is the same. A tremendous source of help that has eased the transition from classroom to office is the immense knowledge and assistance available from colleagues and management.
Cons
At times, work requires extended hours. That said, long hours are a natural aspect of the consulting career. Upon completing a project, I find it very rewarding to reflect on the hours and will-power used in order to produce the highest-quality client deliverables.
