Pros
Great company to work for. I join the company's engineering dept fresh out of uni. They allowed me to make mistakes (some rather stupid I have to say) and learn on the job. I think anyone new that could find a company like that starting out is lucky. Those who stay tend to stay for a long time. One boss was there 40 years and there are lots of employees spend their whole working life there - decades - and the company recognize you for that. I moved on to asset management later on from a completely unrelated department. That was one of the best culture and atmosphere you can work in. My boss then was also one of the most dedicated and hardest working individual I've come across. The wonderful thing is he didn't do it because he is wanting specific promotion, or worry about loosing his job, but just a drive to do an excellent job. He started from the lowest level and worked his way up. His boss was deemed to be the smartest manager ever walked through the company door and she is already promoted as a director looking after SEA. One of the fastest promotion I've heard and certainly deserved it. Even I have left the business, I have to say that the bosses did really make an impact in my life and I learnt a lot from them.
Cons
Nothing, may be location is quite far to travel to for me.
