Pros

While there were some positive aspects of my time at Crown, such as the opportunity to work with some genuinely supportive colleagues, the overall work environment and management practices left much to be desired.

Cons

- Communication within the company was consistently lacking. Important updates, changes, and expectations were often unclear or not communicated at all. This led to confusion and frustration among the employees - Employees frequently felt unsupported by management. Concerns and issues raised by staff were often dismissed or ignored, leading to a sense of helplessness. Especially while the branch was constantly short staffed and over worked- there was a total disregard for staffs time and well being. - Crown had inconsistent and ever-changing policies, which made it difficult to understand and follow the rules. This inconsistency caused unnecessary stress and confusion. Additionally, their systems are dated. You work harder- not smarter. - The high turnover rate during my time at Crown was indicative of the overall dissatisfaction among the staff. - Unprofessional Conduct and Problematic behavior: I witnessed a lot of berating and disrespectful encounters. Luckily, I was never a part of it but it is honestly so sad to see such open unprofessional and disrespectful behavior in a workplace while management sometimes joined in or just turned their back. What was mind boggling is that most offensive behavior I have witnessed was all from UPPER MANAGEMENT. Upper Management at this branch is for lack of a better word, a joke. I have PERSONALLY witnessed them OPENLY bad mouth long term employees (over 25 years) who left the company either for retirement or for better opportunities. The way they talk to and treat their existing staff is no better. They put all of the branches failures on the staff without realizing that they are in charge. They should be pointing the finger at the mirror. - and last but certainly not least... I should highlight the issue of limited career opportunities. If you wanted to climb the ladder here, there is ZERO structure or guidance on how to succeed. It seems like its all based on favoritism anyway.
