10yPros and Cons outlined here really depict a time of change in the company. This feedback is from a past employee and I can imagine many changes have taken place from time of employment to current.
As an organization, we are very transparent about the change, and have truly embraced it in the past six months. Our attrition rate is below the average and healthy given our rate of growth. Turnover rate being high and swept under the rug is not accurate in my perspective. While turnover is a sensitive topic, and from an HR point of view, we are unable to give full disclosure due to the sensitivity of the topic.
In addition, to promote transparency, we have been very open to allow for anonymous feedback, public feedback, open questions forum each week at All-Hands, and our CEO is open to discussing change as it occurs. There was a time in the past 6 months where we were really working to put the process in place whereby people could communicate and share, and I feel since we have done so. I am proud of our progress, and am happy that we are very open with communicating with our broader team.
To the former employee, I would say thank you for the advise to management. The advise is constructive and we have been taking these measures to ensure improvement in communication and transparency. The evolution of this company in creating an authentic brand, bringing on strong leaders, and keeping communication open and honest is something that we are constantly trying to improve upon. As with any high growth environment, it is important to constantly reflect, and take the feedback seriously. As we scale, we are constantly assessing that we are keeping true to our mission and values.
