Absolutely no work/life balance. They just don't care. When someone leaves or goes out on a medical leave, positions are not filled.
I had an admin type co-worker who assisted me go out on a medical leave that turned into 18 months. My workload increased exponentially and my "off Friday" turned into work, as well as weekends. Continuous requests to my management both corporately and in the business division fell on deaf ears. However, I was still expected to fulfill all aspects of my job and my performance reviews didn't reflect that I had taken on this other person's admin duties. HR is a joke. No concern there whatsoever. On my exit "interview", the rep gave me papers to sign and then said thank you. I provided my feedback on the company and my management to her, she looked at me with a blank look, then indicated that I would be receiving a survey where I could provide feedback. 6 months later I still haven't received a survey. What does that tell you about an organization? As other people have said in their reviews, it's a toxic environment and senior leadership takes no responsibility for leading to change it.
